Queen Biopic ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ sees Rami Malek transform into Freddie Mercury: Watch

Out November 2nd the film is set to chronicle Queen’s rise from 1970, up until the band’s performed at Live Aid.

‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, a track that embodies Freddie Mercury, radical flamboyant and ever different, is the title of this latest biopic.

Rami Malek, best known as ‘Mr Robot,’ has been set the task of capturing the legend that is Freddie Mercury.

The film is set to climax at the band’s Live Aid performance, cutting the complicated 6 years in which Freddie suffered with AIDs.

The production has not been smooth-sailing. Much like the start of the band’s beginnings, it has some setbacks. Principal photographer Byran Singer was fired from directing duties due to his “unexpected availability,” and apparent erratic and over-the-top behaviour from Singer.

This has been denied by Singer who has stated “pressing health matters” regarding a parent. Dexter Fletcher, who directed classics Eddie the Eagle and Sunshine on Leith, has taken over directing duties for the completion of the film.

Regardless of its making, the trailer displays promise with Malek displaying Mercury’s strength of character with classic one liners and a promising moustache.
